- Hands-on maintenance of PROTEGO® valves and flame arresters on key models (detonation arrester, pressure and vacuum relief pallet valve, pressure and vacuum relief diaphragm valve).
- Setting and measuring of set pressure and leakage rates on the test bed.
- Trainees to acquire competence and expert knowledge as persons qualified in explosion protection with specific regard to Protective Systems; where applicable, introduce trainees to the approach to design and sizing of PROTEGO® Valves and Flame Arresters. Informing trainees about safety-related basics and instructing them on how to use the operating instructions.
- Trainees to acquire competence and expert knowledge as persons qualified in explosion protection pursuant to German Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV) § 14 Subs 1 3 and § 15 as well as TRBS (German Technical Rules for Operational Safety) for protective systems for use as intended in hazardous areas.
- Officially recognised continuation course for immission control and incidents prevention officers pusuant to § 7 No. 2 of No. 5 Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV).
- 2 VDSI points for safety at work / 3 VDSI points for fire protection.

Crash courses lasting one or several days can be organised on a case-by-case basis (dedicated training programme, cost subject to agreement).
Training is organised and given by experienced and skilled personnel (engineers, skilled mechanics, fitters and electricians).
Every participant will be given an extensive documentation folder as well as a certificate of attendance.
