We find the perfect solution for you

The world's largest flow test facility of its kind

Whatever complex and extreme your application, we will find a solution for you. We are specialists, not only specializing in what we have already developed, but also in developing the dedicated solutions you may require. Tailored devices are our day-to-day business.

The PROTEGO® technology center is equipped with the following test facilities: low pressure measurement systems, climate chamber, cryogenic test bench, salt spray chamber, valve test bench, mechanical workshop, laboratory and electrical laboratory.

Our products stand for quality and safety. The world's largest flow test facility of its kind, it is also an indispensable tool for internal research and development to enable correct scientific measurement of flow and meet specific customer requirements. All PROTEGO® valves and flame arresters Flame Arresters A flame arrester, deflagration arrester, or flame trap is a device or form of construction that will allow free passage of a gas or gaseous mixture but will interrupt or prevent the passage of flame. are flow tested to assure safe operation in service.

Our flow test facility was renewed in the year 2000 and has been technologically improved ever since.

Testing Facilities at the PROTEGO® Technology Center

Low pressure flow test facilities

measurement of end-of-line and in-line devices according to DIN EN ISO 28300 and DIN EN ISO 16852

Climate chamber

simulation of extreme operating conditions from -70°C (-94°F) up to +150°C (+302°F)

Cryogenic test bench

functional test of valves for cryogenic storage tanks, e.g. LIN-LOX-LAR tanks

Stainless steel industrial test container with Protego logos, external piping, and a ladder, set up outdoors with hoses connected and light vapor visible.
A technician adjusts a frost-covered industrial valve on an elevated platform as cold vapor vents from the connected pipe during testing.

Salt spray chamber

environmental simulation: functional test for maritime operating conditions
