Internal safety valve

I

An internal safety valve is a shut-off valve for tanks. Under normal operating conditions, the internal safety valve is operated in open position and is only shut in case of an emergency.

The valve is installed on the inside of the tank and prevents drainage in case of destruction or leakage of aggegate components. A distinction is made between hand-operated internal safety valves and special designs with direct or remote control.
