A FLAMEFILTER® is a circular disk, which is made by coiling serrated and plain metal band alternately.
Between the coiled bands, there are gaps with a defined size (gap width). If a flame hits the FLAMEFILTER®, energy is absorbed due to the size of the material surface. "FLAMEFILTER®" and "FLAMMENFILTER®" are registered international trademarks by Braunschweiger Flammenfilter GmbH.
